Addy’s Fundraiser

Our dearest Addy is one of our most active volunteers who has been struggling with an infection since last summer. It was treated but not getting better.

After an ER visit three weeks ago, she returned a week later, unable to walk and pain all over her body. It has been a long week of treating a staph infection with an infectious disease doctor and more to do. Her blood count numbers have been off, and she needs to see a rheumatologist.

In the last two weeks she has had 2 ER visits, over a week in the hospital, and being sent to a different hospital. She also has many hone needs eventually to make sure her environment is clean while she still has a very vulnerable immune system.

We thought 2025 would be a rebound year for us, and then we were part of the mass firings and Addison is a college student without insurance, and we have dealt with food insecurity.

She spent much of her youth at children’s hospital and always had a complicated health journey. Often, you will not know Addy’s pain because she will always show up by giving back to the DFW community. She often volunteers 800 hours a year. She is a fighter. In September, while she was already feeling bad, she was at Cook Children’s Hospital delivering a donation for youth patients. You can see her community work on Instagram under Addy Grace with the profile picture shown here. https://www.instagram.com/addison_grace_mouser?igsh=MWFyNXh1OXR5YWptcA=

We really do not easily lay out our burdens because we know so many people are desperately struggling. We are doing this at the sweet request of many caring people, but please take care of your family first in these difficult days.

Thank you for loving and praying for my sweet girl

Love, Addy’s Mom (Tammy)
