Presenting teens with a positive opportunity to develop tolerance of cultural differences and promote unity and racial harmony by bringing teenagers of all races and backgrounds together working to accomplish a common goal thereby producing knowledgeable and caring citizens for the future.

YOUR VOICE UNLEADSHED BACKGROUND & DETAILS

Teen Choir Explosion was established in 1994 and continued for 10 years. In 2017, we reintroduced it to a whole new generation as Your Voice Unleashed (YVU) still with the focus to unite teenagers and offer a positive summer activity.

1. Participants will engage in the FREE two week-long enrichment program that includes vocational training in Entrepreneurship, Finance & Investments, Culinary, Community & Social Justice, Fashion Design and Health Science as well as performing arts workshops for Choir, Dance, Mime, Theater, and Art.

2. Youth will have exposure to different styles of praise including Urban Gospel, Contemporary Christian and Latin Gospel taught by a diverse set of clinicians.

3. Programming includes an open panel discussions about race relations, cultural diversity, and what they will do after graduation – college, military, business.

​4. Attendees will be provided nutritious catered meals daily – breakfast, lunch and snack.
